Customer Reviews of Presto 02974 Pride Salad Shooter
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Chopper/slicer/grater, a needed item in the kitchen Comment: About 10 years ago, our grater broke late in the evening, and the closest thing open was our little hardware store. We had people coming over and needed to have cole slaw made for a party. The had expensive replacement graters, and for a bit more this Salad shooter unit. We thought, what the heck. This was such a time saver, and a great addition to the kitchen. nice even chopped/grated/sliced carrots or cabbage or potatoes, what ever you are chopping. Worth the 20 bucks or so, and likely a good gift as well. Try it, you'll like it. Customer Rating: Summary: defective Salad shooter Comment: i have just returned a defective Presto Salad Shooter to you. The food chamber will not stay engaged with the mechanism which provides the electricity to the whole system. I am not only disappointed in the product but I am disappointed in your policy of not refunding the postage cost which was $8.95. In addition to this was the cost of returning the product. As you suggested I returned it by return receipt request which cost me $17.10 total being $26.05. A lot of money to get a refund of $55.00. Since this epasode I have knowledge that the Presto Company has stopped manufacturing this product because of this flaw.Betty Hallett Customer Rating: Summary: My favorite kitchen appliance Comment: I have worn out my 3rd salad shooter since they were first introduced to the market ... typically, in a week I use it 5 or 6 times. The cheese is grated to a perfect size and I love the way it grates carrots and potatoes. This is for the perfect gift for the person who is an excellent cook, but has time constraints. I am putting this on my wish list so that my family can see I need one again. Suggestion: Get the largest one available as it saves time and effort in the kitchen. More Reviews Choosing Appliance -> Hobs If you enjoy eastern cuisine, you can buy a speciality hob with a wok burner. Similarly if you are a BBQ fan, choose a BBQ grill. If you are left handed, go for front rather than right hand side controls as this eliminates the risk of reaching across the heat. If you cook for a large family, more than four rings may be useful, and if you have young children it may be worth considering paying a little extra for a hob guard or in the case of gas, choosing an automatic re-ignition or cut off device should the flame blow out. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens The standard 60cm oven has been joined by various other sizes. Now consumers can choose from 60,70 and 90cm wide built-in single ovens. Always check the internal capacity shown in litres as well as the external dimensions. Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Granite Care Materials NOT to be used on Granite:
