Customer Reviews of Oxo SteeL 11-Inch Balloon Whisk
Customer Rating: Summary: Stainless Whisk Comment: Purchased this for myself as an in-between size whisk. It's great. Handles wonderfully and very easy to control. Customer Rating: Summary: Great wisk plain and simple Comment: This is a great sturdy whisk. Our old one did not have strong wires and ended up being all bunched together. This one is holding up to our wear and tear very well. Customer Rating: Summary: Great whisk Comment: I've owned this whisk for about a year now, and I'm quite happy. It is pretty small, but that's great for me since I don't make any large batches of anything. It's easy to store, goes in the dishwasher easily, and it's as good as the day I bought it. More Reviews In typical OXO fashion, the brushed steel handle is ergonomically designed for comfort. This balloon whisk is designed with a larger head for incorporating air while mixing and blending. Choosing Appliance -> Dishwashers Check the capacity. 'Standard' 60cm wide dishwashers can take 12, 14 or 16 place settings, whilst slimline 45cm models may cater for 7, 8 or 9 place settings. Compact dishwashers tend to be 45 cm wide and can be placed on the worktop or built in, depending on the model. They may take 4, 5 or 6 place settings. Choosing Appliance -> Strainers We recommend 2 strainers for every kitchen. The first is a solid stainless steel colander (one big enough to wash a lot of lettuce at once). The second strainer is a fine mesh conical strainer (called a chinois) which is a must for any serious sauce or stock making. A chinois is an expensive purchase, but with care it will last many years. Oxo SteeL 11-Inch Balloon Whisk Kitchen tips -> Onion To produce good tasting, crisp onions, slice or chop onions and place them in a bowl. Cover the onions with water and then add some ice to the water. Let the onions soak for 15 minutes to an hour and then drain before serving |
