Customer Reviews of Zyliss Quick Blend Whisk
Customer Rating: Summary: Decent product. Comment: I expected the handle to have a little more weight to it. Very light weight. Decent product for the money. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice, Sturdy Whisk Comment: I really enjoy this whisk compared to many others I have tried, but I wish they would have made the handle just a bit lighter. The metal is very study and holds its shape well. I have had to go in between the wires to dig out dough and pretty much abuse the wires and the whisk has been no worse for wear. It still looks brand new even after regular use. Customer Rating: Summary: Couldn't be happier! Comment: This whisk is amazing, it really is. It whips things together in no time, and it's so easy to clean because of the open end. It's a great product, I would recommend it to anyone! Customer Rating: Summary: On Balance Comment: Sturdy, good materials, and as a whisk works very well, but poorly balanced; handle is so heavy it tips over if you try to leave it inside or resting on the parameter of a bowl. I don't particularly recommend it. Customer Rating: Summary: love it Comment: this is great...if something gets stuck inside, it's easy to pull the metal apart a little and allow the clump to fall out and then continue mixing. More Reviews The trouble with most whisks is that egg or batter clogs where the wires criss-cross at the end. This whisk is designed to avoid this annoyance, how thoughtful! Choosing Appliance -> Convection Ovens Convection ovens allow you to bake more foods (cookies, muffins, etc.) at once with even browning, but without the need to shift and rotate pans. A convection oven is the same as a conventional oven except a fan is installed in the back interior of the oven. The fan is used to blow and force the heat to circulate in the oven and around the food, thus eliminating the need to rotate and shift pans. In reality, though, even with the most expensive convection ovens, you will still need to rotate your foods, because there will always exist still hot spots in the cavity, because the cavity is small. Don't compare home convection ovens with most commercial convection ovens used by bakers and small food manufacturers, because their commercial ovens are much larger than home ovens and commercial ovens don't have any hot spots and therefore, there's no need to shift and rotate pans. Choosing Appliance -> Mixer Pretty much the same thoughts as the food processor. High quality mixers are great for making bread or other tough jobs. Every kitchen should have one. Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Also, find a spot on the counter where it can be easily accessed at a moment's notice. Zyliss Quick Blend Whisk Useful info -> Tips If you plan to install a dishwasher, place it close to the sink. Where you choose to put it might depend on whether you're right- or left-handed and on the path dishes are likely to take when cleared from the table.
