Customer Reviews of Royal Worcester Evesham Gold Porcelain 6-1/2-Inch Cereal Bowl
Customer Rating: Summary: Prettiest bowls on the market! Comment: I recently switched my everyday china to the RC Evesham Gold set and it is such a pleasure to use these everyday. The bowls are perfect for cereal, desserts, and salads - not too big, not too small. My former set was Pfalzgraff which I was very disappointed in. I decided to go back to real china as long as it was not made in China. Royal Worcester has been around for a very long time and most of their stuff is made in England - which means no worries about lead in their paint. It is a bit pricier than most everyday sets, but well worth it - you won't be disappointed. More Reviews The Evesham pattern by Royal Worcester is a highly collectible English design on fine porcelain. The cereal bowl is a perfect addition to the place setting that can be used at every meal, for oatmeal or cereal, fruit, pudding or ice cream. The bowl is decorated with cherries, blueberries and apricots famous in the Evesham orchards of England, trimmed with 22 carat gold band. The cereal bowl is made in Portugal. Choosing Appliance -> Strainers We recommend 2 strainers for every kitchen. The first is a solid stainless steel colander (one big enough to wash a lot of lettuce at once). The second strainer is a fine mesh conical strainer (called a chinois) which is a must for any serious sauce or stock making. A chinois is an expensive purchase, but with care it will last many years. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens The standard 60cm oven has been joined by various other sizes. Now consumers can choose from 60,70 and 90cm wide built-in single ovens. Always check the internal capacity shown in litres as well as the external dimensions.
