Customer Reviews of Chantal Ceramic 1.5-Quart Quiche Pan, White
Customer Rating: Summary: Chantal's quality is consistently good! Comment: Great pan, brilliant color, good quality, well worth the price. I have several Chantal pieces and all of them have held up well. They cook evenly and look as good as new, use after use. None of them have ever chipped. Customer Rating: Summary: What a beautiful pan! Comment: I was surprised at the low price, and the beautiful color (cobalt blue). The pan is scratch resistant, and my quiches and tarts turn out beautifully! As good as non-stick. Can't be beat for the price, and presentation. I'm so happy with it, that I'm going to get a Chantal Pie Pan next. Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful Quiche pan! Comment: I use this for quiche, scalloped potatoes, just about anything baked. It is beautiful for serving at the table. Customer Rating: Summary: Bakes beautifully!! Comment: This is a terrific dish that I've used frequently since purchasing. It does a lovely, light quiche and has served as a baker for numerous other items, from baked chicken to a novel "round lasagne". Very pleased with it and it's beautiful enough to serve at the table. More Reviews This quiche pan is beautiful with a high gloss glaze and rich vibrant colors, and it's also functional with thick walls and bottom for superior heat retention and uniform baking. br>Chantal Ceramic Bakeware carries a limited warranty for 1-year against cracking, crazing or fading. For occasional dried-on food, sprinkle with a teaspoon of baking soda and water and scrub with a nylon or plastic scrubber. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach and other strong cleaners. Do not use on gas or electric stovetop. Not recommended for broiler use. To prevent chipping or breakage, do not drop, over-stack or knock against sides of sink. Before microwaving frozen meals, thaw in refrigerator for the best results. Do not run cold water into a hot dish, cracking could occur from sudden temperature change. Choosing Appliance -> Shopping Washer When shopping for a new washer, look for a front loading (horizontal-axis) machine. This machine may cost more to buy but uses about a third of the energy and less water than a top-loading machine. With a front loader, you'll also save more on clothes drying, because they remove more water from your clothes during the spin cycle. Look for the Energy Star label. Choosing Appliance -> Fridge / Freezers Added features such as ice making and drinks dispensers can all add to the appeal of certain models. Ice making is an option on many American style fridge-freezers, sometimes available without opening the door, as are cold water dispensers. Zoned models offer several storage areas, all at different temperatures, designed to keep a variety of foods fresh for longer. Most manufacturers now offer adjustable shelf heights and storage units which simplify food storage. Chantal Ceramic 1.5-Quart Quiche Pan, White Useful info -> Dishwashers A concealed heating element reduces the risk of lightweight plastic items such as children's drinking cups melting onto it after becoming dislodged mid-cycle. Limescale build-up is also prevented. Some manufacturers now produce models with the concealed heating element coiled around the water inlet pipe for further energy efficiency. |
