Customer Reviews of Chicago Metallic Gourmetware Original Muffin Top Pan
Customer Rating: Summary: Gourmet muffin pan... Comment: I have been looking for this product for several years .. both my wife and I love the thinner muffins that we can cook in this type pan .. thank s for offering this and hope this will have others try the thinner muffins .. thanks Customer Rating: Summary: Sue's muffin top pans Comment: I ordered these to make pumpkin whoopie pies for Thanksgiving. It's a good thing because the guest that was bringing the pies got sick and we would have had no dessert. I'm sure muffins would be great too. I can't believe how fast I received my order. Customer Rating: Summary: Makes delicious muffin tops! Comment: This makes perfectly sized muffins to toast in the toaster for a quick morning breakfast. I now own four of them. It is nonstick but I think it works better if lightly oiled. I highly recommend these pans! Customer Rating: Summary: Chicago Metallic Muffin Top Pan Comment: I really like this product. I haven't been able to find any other muffin top pans in the stores. Although I've only used it one time, the quality is good and stood up to baking and easy to clean. Customer Rating: Summary: muffin top pans Comment: These pans are fantastic. I used a recipe from a quilting book and made jumbo chocolate chip and oatmeal butterscotch cookies. These pans baked the cookies wonderfully and the cookies slid out of the pans 15 minutes after they were baked. I wish I had more of these pans even though I had bought 2 of them. Might pick up some more for gifts for my daughter and daughter in law, they are that great. My cookie recipes were specially made for these pans and I even adjusted the size of the cookies, they still turned out fantastic. Can't praise them too much. More Reviews Have you ever eaten the top of the muffin and thrown the rest away? Muffin crowns are indeed the best part, so why not invent a pan that practically elimates the bottoms? Far less wasteful, no more guilt, lots of yummy muffin. Featured in Cook's Illustrated Resources September/October 2002 If you favor the crusty, browned top of the muffin over the delicate, crumbly bottom, a muffin-top pan might be for you. Almost flat, each of the pan's six muffin cups is jut 1/2 inch deep, yielding flying-saucer shaped muffins that are virtually all crispy brown top. Our favorite pan is made by Chicago Metallic..." Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Keen cooks may want to take advantage of multi-function ovens - usually aimed at the top end of the market. As well as traditional cooking, fan or fan-assisted cooking and grilling, these ovens offer up to nine further functions. These include: Top element only (browning), bottom element (final cooking of pastry dishes or pizzas), fan and bottom element (delicate cooking), fan only (thawing). Choosing Appliance -> Fridge / Freezers Added features such as ice making and drinks dispensers can all add to the appeal of certain models. Ice making is an option on many American style fridge-freezers, sometimes available without opening the door, as are cold water dispensers. Zoned models offer several storage areas, all at different temperatures, designed to keep a variety of foods fresh for longer. Most manufacturers now offer adjustable shelf heights and storage units which simplify food storage.
