Customer Rating:  Summary: This Thing is da Bomb! Comment: I'm the best husband ever after getting this for my aspiring chef. My wife loves to cook and she typically had cook books all over the counters taking away her prep space. This holder gives her back her much needed space, it set's up easily, holds any size/style of bound book or magazine and folds up pretty slim for storage when not in use. I'm thinking about getting her another one for when she's doing two recipes at once. Customer Rating: Summary: Simply Awesome! Comment: We have had ours for a couple years now and it truly is a excellent cookbook holder. It is very durable, easy to setup, easy to store, and easy to clean. Customer Rating: Summary: Not Just For Cookbooks Comment: I take this to meals whenever I'm eating by myself. It folds flat so it's easy to put into a knapsack or atache case, and it eliminates the problem of trying to hold a book in one hand while wielding a fork or other gastronomical weaponry with the other. Almost every time I use it someone will ask where I got it. The plastic does scratch over time, but it's easy enough to replace. Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful product for an every day cook! Comment: I love this cook book holder. It adjust to fit any size book. I keep it on my kitchen counter displaying the cook book I'll be using that day. For any one out there that enjoys cooking you will appreciate the quality of the product and the convenience it offers, the plexi glass protects your precious books from any splatters and it's so easy to clean just wipe off with damp cloth. There are many choices out there but this one is worth the $. I would make this purchase all over again. More Reviews This is no flimsy cookbook holder for sure! This jumbo-sized holder holds magazines (even extra large cookbooks), and adjusts to hold your opened book at the proper angle for recipe reading. A clear, acrylic front keeps the splatters off your pages, and a hinged front allows for easy page turning. Once you've finished, it all folds flat for easy storage. The measurements are 15.75" x 12".

A drainer extension can be useful for sinks without a drainer where worktop space is limited in a small kitchen. Choosing Appliance -> Whip / Whisk Many still consider a whip as a "gourmet" piece of kitchen equipment. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is as essential as a kitchen stove and should be in everyone's kitchen. Nothing works better for mixing a multitude of different preparations or for making sauces or gravy. Buy a solid stainless steel whip with moderately stiff wires. Very thin wires are for mixing delicate things like egg whites or whipped cream. Very thick, solid wires are for mixing stiff dough. Useful info -> Dishwashers Don't put up with intrusive machine noise in the kitchen. Most dishwashers are now whisper quiet, 45-49dB being typical. You should still be able to watch the television or hold a conversation whilst the machine is operating. |
