Customer Rating:   Summary: Not for me - Works the way it should Comment: I bought this after all of the positive reviews on Amazon. I must say that for the price and quality it is perfect... That being said I dont like the device at all. Yes it works the way it should and it does pull the cork up for you...but there is a lot to be done to get a bottle of wine opened here. The removal of the plastic piece to put on top etc, etc... Feels flimsy and fidgety to me... The above is my personal opinion about this product... I personally feel that any $5-10 corkscrew works as well as this thing does. I dont get the concept..... It works as it should and thus I am giving it a 3/5. I liked this enough to purchase for all my friends. Customer Rating: Summary: Delightful discovery Comment: I was tired of and annoyed by the standard corkscrew with handles on the side. I broke several and pinched my thumb severely enough to incur one of those cuts that's troublesome to heal. After shopping around and reading the reviews, I selected this screwpull, and have not only not been disappointed, but wish I had found this decades ago. There is a little pocket-knife like blade on the side that neatly removes the foil. To remove the cork, you simply nest the prongs on the neck of the bottle and start turning. To remove the cork from the opener, just turn in reverse. It is so easy to use. I love it! After I used it once it became my favorite opener. It is simple to use, takes up little space, easily fits in your pocket, and removes a cork in just a few seconds with little effort.
