Customer Reviews of Stainless Magnetic Hook Strip
Customer Rating: Summary: Magnetic Hook Strip for Utensils Comment: I bought this and the magnetic paper towel holder. Both have very strong magnets and adhere robustly to the refrig. However, I did not have the same success with the magnetic towel holder. I later learned that there are various manufacturers of these magnetic space saving products and some make inferior ones. The magnetic hook strip (utensil holder) by Better Houseware Group is a very good product. Customer Rating: Summary: it works! Comment: i was looking for a magnetic rack strong enough to hold a broom and dustpan on my fridge. This one works great. I even added a duster and wisk broom. I recommend this to anyone who needs a strong magnetic rack. Customer Rating: Summary: Strong and attractive Comment: Very attractive, and strong enough to hold utensils and potholders without sliding. The hooks are shaped correctly so that the utensils hang flat against the wall. Fits perfectly on the side of my microwave. Recommended! Customer Rating: Summary: A great product! Comment: I bought my first Magnetic Utensil Hook when I moved in with my daughter. Her refrigerator was next to the stove and when I saw the magnetic utensil holder at a local store, I bought it. I wasn't sure that the magnet would be strong enough to hold a bunch of utensils but it does and I have two utensils on each hook. I also bought one for my son-in-law for his BBQ and he loves it. Customer Rating: Summary: Most Likely Not What You're Looking For Comment: This set of magnetic hooks will not work on textured metal surfaces. I bought it to use on my Fridge (with a textured surface) and with any weight at all it just slides to the floor. I bought a set of individual "rare earth" magnet hooks that are 1/4 the size of the magnets on this thing and each of them will hold four-times the weight (for less than 1/3 the money for 8 hooks). If you are looking to mount this on a smooth surface it MIGHT work, but I wouldn't take the chance if I were you. More Reviews Need a place to keep your utensils so they're out of the way, yet easy to reach? Simply affix the stainless steel strip to the metal surface with the powerful magnets, and use the attached hooks to hang kitchen utensils, pot holders, and other items you want to keep easily accessible. Ideal for your fridge, stove, or other convenient steel surface, this magnetic hook strip features a polished stainless steel construction and five hooks for hanging your kitchen utensils, aprons, or other kitc Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result. You can save around 500 hours a year so it is worth thinking about. If you have a small kitchen or live alone, choose a slimline model. Choosing Appliance -> Hobs If you enjoy eastern cuisine, you can buy a speciality hob with a wok burner. Similarly if you are a BBQ fan, choose a BBQ grill. If you are left handed, go for front rather than right hand side controls as this eliminates the risk of reaching across the heat. If you cook for a large family, more than four rings may be useful, and if you have young children it may be worth considering paying a little extra for a hob guard or in the case of gas, choosing an automatic re-ignition or cut off device should the flame blow out. Stainless Magnetic Hook Strip Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil. |
