Customer Rating:  Summary: GARBAGE BAGS! Comment: I ordered these bags after having to disassemble my compactor for the second time due to using generic bags. These bags are the perfect fit for my machine (GE) and using these bags are WAY cheaper than paying for the repair parts for a long time. These are a waste of money for the price. Customer Rating: Summary: Compactor bags Comment: The bags arrived quickly and fit my compactor. It is much easier to buy them here than on the manufacturer's website or by special order at my local appliance dealer. The price compares to or beats other prices I found. Customer Rating: Summary: Fit the compactor... Comment: Our trash compactor is so old that the bags are hard to find and very expensive when you do. These fit the compactor (a Compactall by GE) and seem to be study enough to not rip apart when we compact cans, glass, bottles, and other items that when compacted and broken create sharp edges. Choosing Appliance -> Strainers We recommend 2 strainers for every kitchen. The first is a solid stainless steel colander (one big enough to wash a lot of lettuce at once). The second strainer is a fine mesh conical strainer (called a chinois) which is a must for any serious sauce or stock making. A chinois is an expensive purchase, but with care it will last many years. Choosing Appliance -> Ovens Most avid bakers prefer separate, even-heat double electric ovens. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven.
