Customer Rating:   Summary: Salt shaker fills from the bottom Comment: I really like the appearence of this set, but when the salt ran out, and I had to refill, I discovered that the top of the salt shaker does not unscrew. So you have to tape over the holes in the top, turn it upside down, and pry off a rubber stopper to fill it. Why not make it so that the top uncrews? The pepper mill fills from the top so why not the salt shaker? Seems like a poor design to me. Customer Rating: Summary: Good product Comment: This is exactly what I wanted! Only issue I have is with the people who packaged this. When I got the package, salt was everywhere. Apparently putting some scotch tape over the salt shaker would have saved a lot of trouble, thats what i did when i had to move with this. I guess people would be disgusted if they found tape over the shaker though, but I'd rather have that then salt everywhere... Customer Rating: Summary: Just what we needed! Choosing Appliance -> Grater In our opinion, the old fashioned box graters work the best since they are sturdy and offer several different grating sizes. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result. You can save around 500 hours a year so it is worth thinking about. If you have a small kitchen or live alone, choose a slimline model.
