Customer Rating:   Summary: looks nice but spills easily Comment: This combination pepper grinder/salt shaker looks great in my contemporary kitchen. It grinds the pepper well but the lid that screws onto the salt part was not well-designed. The threads need to be longer or something. I have accidentally knocked it over a number of times and the lid falls off the salt part and then I have a big mess to clean up! If you buy this you may want to make sure the lid is secure before filling up the salt part entirely. Customer Rating: Summary: I use it every day, and every day I think about how much I like it! Comment: I've had a few similar units, powered grinder and manual. This one is by far my favorite. Customer Rating: Summary: One Piece Comment: This is a nice Salt and Pepper Mill, but one thing that I did not know from the description or any of the reviews is that this combo is "One Piece". It is not a two piece combo. The salt is at the top and the pepper is at the bottom. Overall it is still a nice mill. Customer Rating: Summary: Very nice! Comment: I found this grinder to be way better than the Chef'n one. This one grinds very well and you can adjust how fine you want it to grind. The only complaint I have is that I don't really like the salt reservoir although it doesn't compromise the use of the product. I thought it was smaller than the photo led me to believe, but other than that, it was great. Choosing Appliance -> Stainless steel bowls These are the best all purpose bowls for a multitude of applications. Choose a wide range of sizes (be sure to get a large bowl for whipping egg whites and whipped cream). In general, the heavier the bowl, the higher quality. Choosing Appliance -> Plastic wrap An absolute must with a million and a half uses. But do not buy just any plastic wrap. Go to a restaurant supply store and buy a large roll of restaurant plastic wrap. It sticks much better than the common grocery store plastic wrap and is much cheaper per foot.
