Customer Reviews of Progressive International Stainless Steel Splatter Screen
Customer Rating: Summary: sturdy product that helps keep your kitchen clean Comment: It is well made and works well. I made pasta today and it kept my stove from getting tomato sauce all over it. Cleaning is easy. Just make sure you wash it right after use so that food won't dry out making it hard to wash off the mesh. Customer Rating: Summary: WILL NEVER HAVE TIO BUY ANOTHER Comment: This is huge, will cover everything. So strong and with reasonable care will be the last one you have to buy. Customer Rating: Summary: Sturdy and functional Comment: Well made and a nice weight. I don't fry often, but when I do this tool is great...I especially like the "feet" that keep the greasy screen off the counter. Did arrive with a slight bend/angle in the frame...but straigtened it flat & it's good to go. Customer Rating: Summary: keeps your kitchen clean Comment: This may seem kind of spendy, when compared to the $2 screens at the grocery store, but it's well worth it. It's sturdy enough so you won't have to replace it any time soon, even if you use it as a strainer. You can run it through the dishwasher at any setting, which is handy, considering how grubby these things get during normal use. When used properly, with the feet up while on the pan, when you take it off the pan, you can flip it over, so the feet point down, and set it on the counter without making a greasy mess. If you like a clean kitchen, or just hate cleaning it all the time, this screen is for you. Customer Rating: Summary: Vast improvement! Comment: This splatter screen is so much better than the old one I had that there's really no comparison - it's large enough to totally cover the cast iron skillet I use frequently as well as my other larger pans. It washes up easier, is sturdier, and handier thanks to the 'feet' when you set it on the counter. Great stuff! More Reviews * Uniquely designed feet to keep the screen off the counter or stove in between uses * Reinforced frame to prevent bending * Contain splatters while cooking on the stove and keep your counter clean and grease free * The large, universal sized screen works with most pots and pans * Stainless Steel Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Ease of cleaning is well worth considering at the outset. Stay clean liners resist dirt build-up but pyrolitic cleaning is the ultimate. It burns off all baked-on debris at 500°C so that all you have to do is sweep out the resulting ash. Look out for ovens with a steam cleaning facility, too, and remember that some ovens have removable inner doors that are easy to clean. Choosing Appliance -> Taps Dual-flow mixers provide independent hot, cold or mixed water after leaving the end of the spout. They can be deck-mounted on the sink or pillar/bridge-mounted for a more traditional look. Alternatively, choose a monobloc tap, which is a single-hole fitting that usually has two handles for hot and cold water supply.
