It got here on time and brand new just as I was told it would. I took it out of the box and put it on my counter where I plan to keep it . This thing is Beautiful and even makes my kitchen look better. I washed it (just to be safe) but it was spotless to start with. When I turned it on I must admit it turned me on a little because I love good craftsmanship and ...POWER...and it has both. I started dropping apples, celery and carrots in it just to see them disappear in seconds and produce flowing juice into juice jug. I got a little carried away and filled the jug up so fast it ran over a bit but I just laughed and wiped up the spill. The juice was great and I drank the whole jug full right away by myself. For future reference that might not have been the best idea I ever had. One hour later I realized that all those live enzymes will clean you up and clean you out so next time a 8 oz. glass of that particular concoction will suffice. All in all this thing works great, looks beautiful and makes me feel I have made a good investment. If you read any bad reviews on this juicer just blow them off because they are truly unfounded. Oh yea I almost forgot ... Clean up is really easy just 5 minutes at the sink and your done. So if you want a great powerful and beautiful juicer buy a Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor. I did and I love it. Customer Rating: Summary: QUALITY MADE Comment: This is my very first juicer and I am glad that I chose this one as my first. The quality and craftsmanship are first rate. Most parts are stainless steel and well crafted and it feels like a machine that will last for years. No matter what I am juicing the motor has plenty of power and the speed dosn't flucuate even when using hard vegtables. Clean up is simple and takes only a couple of minutes. I have used it daily since I have gotten it and really enjoy juicing. I have a glass or two of a friut and vegatable mix daily and am amazed at the flavor and amount of juice that the fruit and veggies produce. Comment: This juicer is absolutely wonderful! It's easy to use and the instructions are very easy to understand. The instruction booklet also contains a variety of tasty recipes...so far we have liked every one we have tried. Cleanup is a snap. The funnel for puting in your fruit,veggies, &/or herbs is wide so there is not a lot of chopping that has to be done. I also like that the makers encourage consumers to use fruit/veggies that are in season, tell you how to use the leftover pulp or if you choose not to, encourage you to put them in your compost pile.I highly recommend this item! Customer Rating: Summary: This mashine is very good for 10 - 15 oz. Comment: 1. This machine is very good up to 15 oz ( 450 g) of juice. It produce good dry peelings. If you try to produce 30 oz ( 1 litter ) of juice, don't expect that it would be very dry. It can disappoint you. 2. Comment: I have had a Juiceman and was tired of constantly chopping up food into small chunks and then still having to fight it down the feed tube. the Juiceman constantly clogged up and the pulp was wet and sloppy indicating it wasn't getting all the Juice out. with my Breville I don't cut anything up! just make sure you buy smaller produce (like the bagged in bulk kind) and you can hit the ground running. It is NOT as loud as a Juiceman and doesn't feel like it gonna fly apart at the seams like a juiceman and the Breveille does a heck of a better job at juicing, pulp comes out dry and fluffy. The quality is much higher than anything I have seen in a kitchen appliance. definitely a five star product only one minor complaint, the power cord could be a little longer, but if that is the only thing wrong with it I can cope.
