Summary: Works as advertised, but there is no perfect tool for this
Comment: I will confess that I didn't buy this at Amazon, but I've had one for a few years and use about every time I need Garlic. It works simply and easily, just put the cloves in and roll around without applying too much pressure. The cloves come out and the peels stay in. If you only have to do a few cloves it works great. Run some water through the cylinder when you're done to rinse out the peels. If you need to do more, you'll end up with a lot of peels in the cylinder and it will not do a great job peeling the later cloves. If you rinse out the cylinder, then it's wet and will not do a good job of peeling the later cloves. I've had to rinse out the cylinder and shake the unit to get every bit of water out before using it to peel more cloves. Fortunately, the unit is silicone and water doesn't stick to it very well. Someone commented on having to trim the ends of the garlic. I always trim the top part of the clove and never use it it my cooking anyway. I don't find I have to trim it before using this tool and will usually trim the top off after peeling. All this being said, I'm not sure there is a perfect tool for doing this. I've used the competitors and they work about as well and are probably harder to dry after rinsing out.

Summary: It actually works
Comment: I was skeptical when I ordered this for my wife. However, it actually does work. If you're doing more than whole garlic bulbs worth of cloves, though, it'll probably need to be cleaned in between. It also tends to damage some of the cloves. We did a whole bunch in advance and maybe 20% had to be used right away (we shoved them in some olive oil).

Definitely saves a lot of frustration, though, surprisingly enough.

Summary: No more owies!!!
Comment: I love cooking with garlic. I hate peeling garlic. I always end up poking myself under my fingernails - which really hurts - and my hands reek forever. This is one of the simplest gadgets ever! Stick in a few cloves, roll the tube using a little pressure (you can't just send it flying like a matchbox car), and voila - fresh peeled garlic without hurting myself.

Summary: Exactly as described
Comment: I was skeptical and thought this might be one of those silly kitchen gadgets that just don't work.... but it does work! Gets the peel off the garlic with one or two rolls. Cleaning is relatively easy (run water through it, possibly you might need to stick a finger inside).

Summary: amazing
Comment: it was troublesome to start with but once you get the hang of it,it eases the chore of peeling.to get the best out of this peeler: 1.make sure both peeler n garlic are dry. 2. insert same size garlics n only 2 at a time. 3. don't press too hard or u'll end up squeezing the juice out n wet the peeler. 4. found out garlics left out of fridge for a week peel easier

Choosing Appliance -> Shopping Dryer
When shopping for a new clothes dryer, look for one with a moisture sensor that automatically shuts off the machine when your clothes are dry. Not only will this save energy, it will save wear and tear on your clothes caused by over-drying. Keep in mind that gas dryers are less expensive to operate than electric dryers. The cost of drying a typical load of laundry in an electric dryer is 30 to 40 cents compared to 15 to 25 cents in a gas dryer.
Choosing Appliance -> Dishwashers
Look for models with adjustable baskets and flexible internal layouts for varying load requirements. For example, a tilting upper basket allows large 30cm diameter plates in the lower basket and extra flaps can be raised or lowered to cater for small items or large pans.

Kitchen tips -> Chicken pieces
When cooking chicken pieces, start with the dark pieces and then add the white chicken. The dark takes longer to cook than the white, so starting the dark first will assist in the white and dark getting done close to the same time
