Customer Reviews of Trudeau Syrup Dispenser
Customer Rating: Summary: Defective Comment: There seems to be a design flaw where the syrup leaks from under its top and drips down the side. And we purchased such an item because we were getting tired of using what we had left puddles. I tried contacting the mfr to no avail. Also, the bottom was starting to separate from its body. Now it's become a pricey bathtub toy. Customer Rating: Summary: Syrup Dispenser Comment: Nice that is dishwasher safe and microwaveable. Leaks a tiny bit, so it doesn't avoid as much of the mess that I was trying to prevent. Customer Rating: Summary: pretty awful... Comment: I bought 2 of these dispensers, one for syrup and one for honey. The dispenser is too stiff for children to use, and while the syrup moves quite freely, it takes hours for honey to pour. It makes for a sticky mess. Definitely not worth having. Customer Rating: Summary: Not bad for the price Comment: Durable and functional with easy clean up simply under hot running water. BUT . . . the resistance on the pouring spout lever is really stiff as other reviewer mentioned - anyone with arthritis or other thumb problem would not be pleased. Just wipe the little drip left over away when you're finished pouring and you won't have a sticky mess down the side ;-) For the price including super saver shipping - generally very pleased. Customer Rating: Summary: Attractive but not functional Comment: This dispenser has a strong resistance and makes it difficult to pull back the lever with the thumb. When it closes, it tends to leave behind a drop of syrup that can run down the side. More Reviews Enjoy a stack of flapjacks smothered in warm syrup right out of your own handy dispenser. This unique syrup server is microwave- and dishwasher-safe and is made of break-resistant polycarbonate so even small children can handle it. It has a see-through body so you can see contents easily. The spring-activated, slide-back lever allows a consistent stream of syrup to flow through. Even better, it won't stick or get stuck. It's a must-have for breakfast time, and is also handy for dessert and other sauces. Choosing Appliance -> Hobs If you enjoy eastern cuisine, you can buy a speciality hob with a wok burner. Similarly if you are a BBQ fan, choose a BBQ grill. If you are left handed, go for front rather than right hand side controls as this eliminates the risk of reaching across the heat. If you cook for a large family, more than four rings may be useful, and if you have young children it may be worth considering paying a little extra for a hob guard or in the case of gas, choosing an automatic re-ignition or cut off device should the flame blow out. Choosing Appliance -> Energy-Efficient Refrigerators The EnergyGuide label on new refrigerators will tell you how much electricity in kilowatt-hours (kWh) a particular model uses in one year. The smaller the number, the less energy the refrigerator uses and the less it will cost you to operate. In addition to the EnergyGuide label, don't forget to look for the Energy Star label. A new refrigerator with an Energy Star label will save you between $35 and $70 a year compared to the models designed 15 years ago. This adds up to between $525 and $1,050 during the average 15-year life of the unit. Trudeau Syrup Dispenser Useful info -> Outdoor Kitchen Few summer pleasures are as much fun as a cookout. The smell of grilling food is mouth-watering, everything tastes great and it's hard not to have a good time - that is, unless you're the harried host running back and forth between the grill and the kitchen for the chicken and steak, forks and knives, beer and wine, and ketchup and mustard. And when everybody's done, all the leftovers must be lugged back inside. |
