Customer Rating:   Summary: Disappointed Comment: When they say 11 inches they are not talking about diameter. It looks much bigger than it is. Maybe I was not trained in knowing what I was buying, expected it to be much larger. Paid for more than I would have if I would have know how small it is. The 11 inches is the measure from the end of the handle to the tip used to hang. The width is about 4 1/2 inches wide. Anyway, It is a nice strainer not quite as big as I thought it would be but useful nonetheless. Well constructed. The listing is very deceptive on all of these strainer products as they indicate the length of the item (who cares!?!) rather than the diameter of the strainer. Needless to say I am not a happy puppy! I wanted an 11" strainer and got a 5" strainer! How disappointing!
