Customer Rating:  Summary: We use honey so often Comment: We use honey so often that our local bee keeper has started selling us our honey in half gallon jugs. Well it just wasn't reasonable to pour honey from jugs that big. This is simple and cute. It's a hard plastic too which is really easy to clean. The kidlets think its more fun to pour honey with the server. I've been using honey for years, I can only think that it was lack of use of the honey, or sitting it in a cold window that caused it to get hard. The jar doesn't seal airtight, and I have not noticed honey hardening, but we use ours pretty often. I suppose if you have concerns about the honey getting hard in the container and you don't use it often I would only fill it half way. Customer Rating: Summary: JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR Comment: This little jar is exactly what I needed. It's lighweight, unbreakable and looks nice on the table. Best of all, it was in my price range Customer Rating:  Summary: cute but not very good! Comment: I purchased this jar for my girlfriend because she buys honey in bulk and didn't have a place in the kitchen for that big bottle. The jar looks cute but doesn't work well! The stick handle goes thru the jar top from the bottom so there is no seal and air ges in and makes the honey one big hard glob. I do not recommend buying this jar, stick to the honey bear bottle!! Customer Rating: Summary: Sweet Swerver Comment: This honey pot is really pretty and even though I am not using it right now, I know I will love it. I am taking it with me to my summer home in Europe and filling it up there. I have used this type of dip stick before and love it. The price is perfect too. Choosing Appliance -> Spoons Buy stainless spoons (both slotted and non-slotted) which are solid and won't bend no matter how tough the job. Also, buy several high quality wooden spoons for stirring delicate dishes like risotto (the sharp edge of a metal spoon would cut or bruise the rice). Choosing Appliance -> Sinks Consider which accessories might be beneficial. Many models can be supplied with a draining basket, chopping board and strainer bowls.
