Customer Reviews of Screwpull Patented 4 Wheel Foil Cutter - Black
Customer Rating: Summary: Best Foil Cutter I've Used Comment: Prior to picking up the Screwpull cutter, I always used a serrated-edge foil cutter in a lever-type corkscrew. Those work well, but aren't very fast and you can cut yourself, either on the blade or the foil. The cutting wheels in the Screwpull cutter work quickly and well on all but the heaviest foils (hence the 4 stars). Squeeze firmly, twirl, and lift - off comes a perfect little foil cap. In addition to this little gem, I recommend Screwpull's pocket model corkscrew: Screwpull Pocket Model Corkscrew, Black Customer Rating: Summary: The foil cutter seems to have the disk fall off ist day. Comment: I was very unhappy that the disk that cut the foil fell off in days. The last one lasted a least a year Customer Rating: Summary: Uni-tasker Comment: Personally, I think this product is a waste of money. Yes, it makes cutting the foil very easy, but it's still not worth it. If you don't mind throwing your money away on a uni-tasker, then go ahead and get this. Customer Rating: Summary: Screwpull Rules Comment: Everyone should own this upscale version of the Screwpull brand foil cutter. No more finger cuts by trying to open your wine with the end of your corkscrew and it looks great at every party! Customer Rating: Summary: Just squeeze and twist! Comment: This foil cutter works very well. Just place over the top of the bottle, squeeze to press the four wheels against the foil and bottle, and twist 45 degrees. This sure beats my old method - using a serrated steak knife and hoping I didn't slip and cut my thumb! More Reviews A simple and clever innovation designed to remove the foil crown from a wine bottle / An indispensable tool for the wine lover / Color: Shiny Black Choosing Appliance -> Sinks Consider which accessories might be beneficial. Many models can be supplied with a draining basket, chopping board and strainer bowls. A drainer extension can be useful for sinks without a drainer where worktop space is limited in a small kitchen. Choosing Appliance -> Grater In our opinion, the old fashioned box graters work the best since they are sturdy and offer several different grating sizes. Screwpull Patented 4 Wheel Foil Cutter - Black Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Natural Granite Maintenance Granite must not be rubbed with abrasive materials instead, wash with clean warm water to which a non-abrasive light neutral detergent (PH7) may be added. Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a chamois leather or similar. Drainer Grooves can be cleaned using wire wool. |
