Customer Rating:   Summary: Small, Sturdy & Strong Comment: These rare earth type magnets are pretty strong for their size ... strong enough that they can be loaded up with several key rings without falling off or sliding down, but not so strong that they're difficult to remove from the fridge. Minor nit: I wish the hooks themselves were slightly narrower, because they're a little wide for some rings, and I also wish they were a tad longer, so they could hold more and thereby take fuller advantage of the magnet's strength. With a slightly narrower and longer hook, and a magnet that was slightly wider, they'd be almost PERFECT. In any case, despite these minor nits, they're still the best I've found so far (as of this writing anyway). I've since thrown away all my other hook magnets, and replaced them with these, exclusively. Recommended. Customer Rating: Summary: Small but efficient Comment: These are small (~2 cm in diameter, with a 1 cm x 1.5 cm hook; the magnet itself is only 1 cm in diameter.), and I wouldn't call them "super strong," but they are indeed strong for their size. I use them on the fridge for kitchen towels, and unless I forcefully jam the towel down on the hook, the unit stays in place. Useful info -> How should I decorate my kitchen? Make sure that all wood mouldings such as doors, architraves and skirting boards are adequately painted before decorating. Ceilings too should be completed. Protect cabinets, appliances and floor coverings from paint or paste drips. You may want to unscrew wall cupboard mounted cornice to facilitate decoration. Don't put too much paste on your paper as it can become very soggy and tear rather than cut. Let the paste soak in for the recommended time and use top quality scissors and a craft knife with a ready supply of new blades for a sharp cut. Borders hide ragged edges at the ceiling. You will be so proud of your work when you have finished. |
