Customer Reviews of Can Pactor Multi Position Can Crusher
Customer Rating: Summary: Easier to use than the other kind Comment: I mounted this crusher to a board much like shown in the pictures associated with this product. It's quite stable that way, and so I'd recommend same to anyone else. What I like about this thing is that it's less noisy and requires less effort than the type of can crusher that presses down on the top. Plus it doesn't need to be pre-dented. It also doesn't need to be mounted to a wall. Customer Rating: Summary: Finally Broke After 20 Years Comment: I'm ordering a new one as both pivot pins sheared this weekend. I like it because it doesn't have to be mounted. It doesn't work quite as well on Coor's cans as they are a smaller diameter than other beverage cans. Customer Rating: Summary: It works Comment: My only complaint it that it's a bit pricey compared to other gadgets that do the same. I spent the money anyway because I really didn't have a good place to mount a crusher and this is the only one I could find that works on a table top and doesn't have to be mounted. A nice side benefit of not having it mounted, and the fact that there are no metal parts that can rust, means that when my husband has been using it on cans that have not completely dried out and it gets all sticky I can just run it through the dishwasher. More Reviews This heavy duty can crusher is different from most in that it can be mounted where ever you need it most. All you need is three screws for easy attachment. (not included) Or use without mounting at all. As can be seen from the photo you can mount it horizontally or flat. You can even leave it loose on the kitchen counter. Or you can mount it vertically on the wall. What ever is most convenient for YOU. Remember to mount it so others can crush their cans as it keeps a place looking clean without you doing all the work. Plus Recycling pays you back! It works in ANY position. I show it mounted on a 2 x 12 laying on top of a barrel. Take it inside when you're done. It saves it from being weathered. This is easily mounted to a post on the porch, on a solid spot in the garage, in a closet, even on the tailgate of a pick up truck. Its just that adaptable! It measures 10" long by 7" wide and stands about 4" tall. When fully open it extends to about 17". It is built of space age super tough plastic for many years of faithful service. It only works on standard 12" American beverage cans. 16 ounce won't work. If after check out you would rather pay direct with credit card that is ok. Also, I will ship just about anywhere so just let me know Choosing Appliance -> Dishwasher Choose a dishwasher with sturdy compression springs in the door. Also look for tough, lightweight nylon or graphite racks with cushioned tips that protect glassware and cookware. Weimer recommends choosing a model with a rack design that provides the largest, most flexible interior space and is configured for your belongings, including odd-shaped pieces. Choosing Appliance -> Shopping Dryer When shopping for a new clothes dryer, look for one with a moisture sensor that automatically shuts off the machine when your clothes are dry. Not only will this save energy, it will save wear and tear on your clothes caused by over-drying. Keep in mind that gas dryers are less expensive to operate than electric dryers. The cost of drying a typical load of laundry in an electric dryer is 30 to 40 cents compared to 15 to 25 cents in a gas dryer. Can Pactor Multi Position Can Crusher Useful info -> Self-Cleaning Ovens Store measuring cups, mixing bowls and other items used together in the same place. Duplicate frequently used items like cutting boards, knives and dish towels in each work area. Keep two containers - one at the baking center, the other at the range - for wooden spoons, spatulas and other cooking basics. And try to store every item at its first point of use. Keep the saute pan near the range, and stow pasta pots near the sink. |
