Customer Reviews of Chef'n Kitchzen Short Silicone Whisk, Apricot
Customer Rating: Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5Rating: 5/5
Summary: Very good wisk
Comment: I bought this as a replacement for my silicone whisk of years past (that one lasted about 2 years). This particular one is SOOO MUCH STRONGER than those made by more-expensive names, with far more silicone on the whisk than other brands; I had an enginner friend of mine look at it and he gave it "thumbs-up"! Excellent for cooking in non-stick pans, as well as any pan that you don't want to scratch-up due to metal-on-metal contact. Cleans up with simply a rinse under the faucet! :)

Summary: bought this as gifts
Comment: I bought several of these as well as silicone spatulas as gifts for family members. They said they love them.

Comment: Nice whisk, I use it just about every day, now I don't have to take out my hand mixer. Very good, thanks.

Choosing Appliance -> Taps
Dual-flow mixers provide independent hot, cold or mixed water after leaving the end of the spout. They can be deck-mounted on the sink or pillar/bridge-mounted for a more traditional look. Alternatively, choose a monobloc tap, which is a single-hole fitting that usually has two handles for hot and cold water supply.
Choosing Appliance -> Cooking Pans
This is another area where spending money is justified. The best pans combine different metals like aluminum or copper on the outside and stainless steel on the inside. Aluminum and copper are valued for their ability to spread heat evenly over the entire pan, and stainless steel is valued for its non-reactive qualities. Buy pans which are heavy and thick with solid handles that are well fastened to the pot. As with knives, buy the highest quality cooking pans you can afford one at a time, starting with a saute pan and a 3 qt. sauce pan. They will last forever. At some point, a stock pot (which will be especially pricey) should be considered for serious cooking.

Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven
Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil.
