Summary: Great for the price!!!!!
Comment: Did not want to pay $100 for a roasting pan. This pan is perfect. I actually like that it does not way 1,000 pounds like the more expensive versions. Perfect. Highly recommend this product.

Summary: good product
Comment: Excellent stainless steel roaster, basic yet good quality, no thrills except 2 small adjustable vents in the cover for steam escape if needed, unit came with stainless wire rack insert. This is the same as traditional enamel oval turkey baking roaster known for years by many except it is made of stainless steel. Rolled metal tuck welded handles, rolled edge on base and cover without any dangerous sharp corners, walls are not super-thick yet they are thick enough to give it sturdy feel, bottom is the same thickness (it is for baking not for frying) and it has traditional drip tray pressed profile. Basically unit is decent, not wobbly, well designed for handling and heat distribution, easy to clean, large enough to fit large turkey with cover completely closed. Storage is taken into consideration as cover fits in the base upside down which is nice considering this roasted is rather large. It will definitely do very well for Thanksgiving home cooking and then for many other every day culinary needs like loin, ribs or chickens.

Comment: LOVE THIS PRODUCT. IT WAS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE. THEY CAN'T STOP USING IT. EASY TO CLEAN. FOOD DOES NOT STICK. NOW THAT I'M JEALOUS, I HAVE TO GET ONE FOR MYSELF.

  • Choosing Appliance -> Servicing Your Appliance
    Buying this "service deal" can be expensive but if you feel happier knowing that you are protected from breakdown for a few years, shop around insurance brokers to see how prices compare.
    Choosing Appliance -> Strainers
    We recommend 2 strainers for every kitchen. The first is a solid stainless steel colander (one big enough to wash a lot of lettuce at once). The second strainer is a fine mesh conical strainer (called a chinois) which is a must for any serious sauce or stock making. A chinois is an expensive purchase, but with care it will last many years.

    Useful info ->
    Is the top or bottom element going to perform the self-cleaning cycle? Some ovens only use the top element and others only use the bottom one. Better designed ovens use the bottom element. The reason for this is that most grease spills and splatters (soil) will accumulate on the sides and the floor of the cavity - not on the ceiling (where the broiler is located) and therefore, the element that is the closest to these soiled areas should be the one to work the strongest in order to bake off the soil.
