Customer Rating: Summary: perfect for my chicken stew Comment: I have searched and searched for the perfect pot for my stew and dumplings. This is it. I had another pot I loved, but couldn't stand the feeling of the outside of it. It was anodized. It is the perfect size for soups, beans, even whole chicken! The lid fits snug enough not to allow any condensation to drip over the edge of the pot. More Reviews Whoever said cookware couldn't be fun, exciting and colorful as well as efficient, easy care and durable, was clearly wrong. Chantal affords the cook every desirable feature in terms of fast, even heating, stick-resistance, non-reactivity, quality craftsmanship and longevity, in addition to colors and shapes that will make the kitchen a happy place to be. Tempered glass lids allow easy viewing and stay cool handles really do stay cool, even on the range. Many cooks don't want to be bothered with hand washing cookware and will be pleased to know that Chantal is dishwasher safe. This cookware has so much visual appeal that it frequently is brought directly to the table and used for serving as well. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven.
