Customer Rating:   Summary: Works well and matches Old Country Rose settings Comment: This is a smaller and cheaper set of shakers in the Old Country Rose pattern. They match the pattern well, and work fine for the purpose (dispensing reasonable amounts of condiments). Customer Rating: Summary: Could you pass the salt and pepper please? Comment: Since I had recently purchased 8 five piece place settings, tea service and several other items I was interested in getting the salt and pepper shakers for the collection. There are a couple different versions of these through Royal Albert in the old country rose design. One set is larger, has more detail but does not have the carrier. This set is very pretty. The roses on the shakers are raised and they are smaller in size with SOME gold trim on them. They are in a holder that is also goldtone in color. If you are interested in spending less, as this set is much cheaper this may be your perfect choice. If you like the smaller shakers with the raised roses again a good decision. If you want them to be in a holder then buy these. The cons are: not as much fine detailing as the larger ones and the gold tone holder could turn in the future.
