Customer Rating: Summary: Simply The Best Comment: Like some of the other reviewers I originally saw these tongs in an America's Test Kitchen product review quite some time ago. The unusual name "OXO" stuck in my head. When I decided to replace some old tongs with a more substantial pair my choice was OXO. I only wish I'd bought both sizes. I see a larger pair in a future order. I will probably buy these for gifts as well. I know they would be appreciated. I have never had tongs in my kitchen before but I went out and bought them. Oxo is a good name brand and I didn't know how to buy tongs but these folded down and fit in my drawer so I bought them. These are the best thing and I wish I had bought more when I did buy them. I use them for flipping everything and find that I use them more than I do a spatula. I often use them when I'm stir frying because I can pick up individual pieces of food and flip them or move them out of the way. They are sturdy, they fold down and fit in a drawer and they wash up easily. Great. Customer Rating: Summary: I've Become a Fan Comment: I'm quickly becoming a huge fan of Oxo products, and I'm starting to wish I were starting from a blank slate. Unfortunately, I have a lot of old, useless gadgets that will have to wear out before I replace them with Oxo. This set of tongs makes so much sense. The plastic areas both keep the tongs cool while you hold them and protects non-stick pans. They also stand up to a lot of heat so they don't melt. More Reviews These tongs are handy for flipping a chicken breast, for turning shrimp in the pan, pulling an open-faced tuna melt sandwich out from under the broiler and so on. Thanks to their nylon ends they can be safely used with non-stick cookware!
