They are high quality 18/10 stainless and arrived very well packed. This item is a beautiful and useful gift. I highly recommend this product. Customer Rating: Summary: Really 18/10 Stainless? Comment: I've looked at all the packaging and there is no reference anywhere to this set being 18/10 stainless. Maybe at one time, but don't you think they would say so if it really were 18/10? There is, however, "China" stamped on every single piece. I'm sorry I didn't buy flatware before every company sold their souls to the Chinese.
