Customer Reviews of Pyrex Storage 14-Piece Round Set, Clear with Blue Lids
Customer Rating: Summary: Really a great product Comment: I really love this set. I've been using it since the day it was delivered, and they are definitely worth it. The lids fit really tightly on the bowls, so even if the bowl ends up sideways in my bag, I don't have a spill. And I can stack them in the fridge as well. Customer Rating: Summary: switch to glass Comment: I got these containers because of the dangers of plastic. I've enjoyed using these for freezing meals for the week. The only thing I don't like is that they get extremely hot in the microwave. So use caution and oven mits. Which is fine at home, but becomes a lot of work at the office. Customer Rating: Summary: Conveinent Comment: Lids fit perfect after several washings in the dishwasher(top shelf). Great for microwave. Hot to Cold and Cold to Hot. Customer Rating: Summary: I like Pyrex Comment: I love Pyrex storage and I will buy more if there are more future promotions. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent product Comment: Excellent quality glassware - should last a very long time if taken care of by following instructions on appropriate use. This set is SO much better than the cheap plastic disposable containers. More Reviews Eliminate the guesswork about what's lurking in your fridge with these convenient glass storage units by Pyrex. It's a scientific fact that leftovers are far less likely to be eaten if they languish hidden. By the time someone decides to take a peek, well, let's just say it can be unnerving. Glass gives you the advantage of being able to store and reheat in the same container, and it doesn't discolor or retain odors the way plastic containers can. With many sizes to choose from you'll be able to store not only leftovers but also pre-prepared meals. Choosing Appliance -> Energy-Efficient Refrigerators The EnergyGuide label on new refrigerators will tell you how much electricity in kilowatt-hours (kWh) a particular model uses in one year. The smaller the number, the less energy the refrigerator uses and the less it will cost you to operate. In addition to the EnergyGuide label, don't forget to look for the Energy Star label. A new refrigerator with an Energy Star label will save you between $35 and $70 a year compared to the models designed 15 years ago. This adds up to between $525 and $1,050 during the average 15-year life of the unit. Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse. This gives you water anywhere you need it around the bowl area. Pyrex Storage 14-Piece Round Set, Clear with Blue Lids Useful info -> Kitchen Tips The optimum location for the cook top is along an exterior wall, rather than on an island or peninsula. With a stove on an outside wall, it's easy to install an effective hood and ventilation system, essential to expel grease, smoke and combustion gases. The stove or cook top needs a 21- to 30-inch overhead clearance so cooks can readily see and access rear burners and the ventilation system can do its work efficiently. |
