Customer Reviews of Innova Classicor Stainless-Steel 2-Quart Saucepan with Lid
Customer Rating: Summary: A durable pot easy to clean Comment: I have used this pot several times and i find it to be very easy to clean. This pot versus non-stick pots is certainly the much better choice. Non-Stick pots always lose their coating resulting in rust spots and then being thrown away.I am very happy with this purchase and will be purchasing more. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice pot to use Comment: I love stainless steel, and won't go back to teflon ever. Who wants that stuff breaking off in your food and doing who knows what to your body? Stainless steel is clean looking, easy to care for. Burn something in it? OK- soak the pan overnight, and try to wipe out with a sponge. If it still won't come off, put water to cover the burnt material and place on the stove on low. It might take a couple of hours, but the burnt material will come off. No need to throw the pan away. Burn a teflon pan? Get out of the house, the smoke is toxic. Throw the pan away. Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect little pot for oatmeal and simmering beans, etc. Comment: I needed a little covered pot in which to make oatmeal for our newly-instituted health-plan breakfasts. My Calphalon pots seems to hold on to cooked oatmeal for dear life, making clean up a real task. Figuring that bright-finish stainless steel might result in less adherence, I ordered the Innova pot with glass lid, and the price was very right. It has, I'm told, a disk of aluminum in the bottom to better difuse and hold heat. It's a sturdy pot and the glass lid, with its stainless steel bulb of a knob, adds to the overall attractiveness. Since I use milk to make the oatmeal (not water --but I don't add milk to eat it, either), I find that "cooked on" (read: singed) milk is no easy thing to scrub away using one of those scrubby kitchen sponges! But it's still easier to clean than the Calphalon pots. Would I buy it again. Oh yes. Even though I wish that aluminum disk in the bottom would wrap up the sides about an inch (at least) to help avoid singing hot foods to the sides of the pot... Customer Rating: Summary: absolutely love cooking with Ultrex/innova cookware Comment: I bought the whole set years ago, We have had T-fal and all the expensive cookware and nothing is like the Ultrex/Innova Cookware, it looks like they just came out of the box. It is so beautiful you want to display them, and the clean up is a cinch, no scrubbing just a simple wipe and it's clean and into the dishwasher they go. Even the bottoms of the pots/pans look brand new not like most pots/pans where they look scorched after awhile. I also like that they have a 75 year warrenty so I will be able to pass them down for family to enjoy. I had to buy more pots because we have so many parties and I love how they look on the stove, all shinny and pretty. THESE ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST. Believe me my husband wanted to be a chef and the Ultrex/Innova cookware is all he will use. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent in every way Comment: I bought this saucepan for college. My mother had only gotten me a skillet, which was ill-suited for making foods like pasta. A must have at any college, even one with an all-inclusive meal plan like mine. You never know when you have to cook your own food and nothing is better than an affordable, high quality saucepan like this. It features a welded handle so you never need to worry about screws or anything. The interior has a non-stick coating which makes cooking and cleaning a breeze. I've used it everyday now for almost 4 months and it's perfect. The handle never gets too hot to handle. The saucepan looks absolutely amazing. The exterior is very polished and very attractive. The clear glass lid is excellent as well. An excellent buy. More Reviews Classicor cookware features the highest quality 18/10 stainless for durability and fast, easy clean up. Clear tempered glass lids allow for viewing during the cooking process. 2qt. Stainless Double Set. Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse. This gives you water anywhere you need it around the bowl area. Choosing Appliance -> Hobs If you enjoy eastern cuisine, you can buy a speciality hob with a wok burner. Similarly if you are a BBQ fan, choose a BBQ grill. If you are left handed, go for front rather than right hand side controls as this eliminates the risk of reaching across the heat. If you cook for a large family, more than four rings may be useful, and if you have young children it may be worth considering paying a little extra for a hob guard or in the case of gas, choosing an automatic re-ignition or cut off device should the flame blow out. Innova Classicor Stainless-Steel 2-Quart Saucepan with Lid Useful info -> How should I decorate my kitchen? Make sure that all wood mouldings such as doors, architraves and skirting boards are adequately painted before decorating. Ceilings too should be completed. Protect cabinets, appliances and floor coverings from paint or paste drips. You may want to unscrew wall cupboard mounted cornice to facilitate decoration. Don't put too much paste on your paper as it can become very soggy and tear rather than cut. Let the paste soak in for the recommended time and use top quality scissors and a craft knife with a ready supply of new blades for a sharp cut. Borders hide ragged edges at the ceiling. You will be so proud of your work when you have finished. |
