Customer Reviews of Innova Classicor Stainless-Steel 8-Quart Stockpot with Tempered Glass Lid
Customer Rating: Summary: Stainless Steel 8-Quart Stockpot Comment: I was disappointed only because I ordered this item specifically for the purpose of using my electric mixer in it; however, the directions specify NOT to use this appliance in it. The material is not as heavy as I expected that it would be. Customer Rating: Summary: Absolutely outstanding design, quality and functionality. Comment: Brilliantly designed, with unbeatable quality, I cook and serve in this beautiful pot. It is every bit as good as described. It is even hard to burn popcorn, the base distributes the heat so evenly. Magnificent piece of kitchenware, although one might be interested in the same 8 qt. pot with the pasta and steaming inserts, where available, for added practicality. The handles are beautifully designed and are extremely high quality, like everything else here. More Reviews Classicor cookware features the highest quality 18/10 stainless for durability and fast, easy clean up. Clear tempered glass lids allow for viewing during the cooking process. 8qt. Covered Stockpot. Choosing Appliance -> Plastic wrap An absolute must with a million and a half uses. But do not buy just any plastic wrap. Go to a restaurant supply store and buy a large roll of restaurant plastic wrap. It sticks much better than the common grocery store plastic wrap and is much cheaper per foot. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Keen cooks may want to take advantage of multi-function ovens - usually aimed at the top end of the market. As well as traditional cooking, fan or fan-assisted cooking and grilling, these ovens offer up to nine further functions. These include: Top element only (browning), bottom element (final cooking of pastry dishes or pizzas), fan and bottom element (delicate cooking), fan only (thawing). Innova Classicor Stainless-Steel 8-Quart Stockpot with Tempered Glass Lid Kitchen tips -> Chopping and Mincing When you want to finely chop foods such as: onions, garlic, parsley, or other items, pivot your knife by keeping the tip of the knife on the cutting surface at all times and hold the knife at an angle, about 95' angle, towards the hand holding the tip. This way, you use the blade to push and keep the food particles down, thus making them easier to chop. If the knife should slip, then the sharp side of the blade will slide away from where you're working, and away from your other hand and fingers. In addition, you make less noise, as compared to when raising and lowering the knife of the cutting surface trying to mince foods. |
