Customer Reviews of Swiss Diamond Round Replacement Cover for 3-1/5-Quart Stewpot, Saute Pan, or 10-Inch Fry Pan
Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Comment: This lid is to replace one that I actually managed to destroy by accident. Swiss Diamond is the absolute best cookware we've ever owned or used. It is expensive, but so well worth it. Customer Rating: Summary: Knob comes loose Comment: Would you want a glass lid where the knob you hold can come loose? The head of the bolt that screws into the knob does not have a flat head or Philips head, so you can't truly get a tight fit with the knob. The knob comes loose every time I use the lid. More Reviews Designed specifically for the Swiss Diamond 3.2-qt. Stew Pot, the 3.2-qt. Saute Pan, and the 9.5-in (24 cm). Skillet, this 9.5-in. (24 cm) Glass lid is a must-have addition to your cookware collection. It is vented and made from tempered glass, so it effectively seals in moisture while preserving the natural flavor and nutrients of your food, and it offers see-through convenience so you can check on the progress of your food without wasting valuable energy. The ergonomic handle is both comfortable to use and heat-resistant. Dishwasher-safe. Choosing Appliance -> Knives The importance of high quality knives can't be stressed enough! Buy the best you can and expect to spend some serious money. It is better to buy a couple of excellent knives and slowly add to your collection rather than buying an entire set of low quality knives. Start with a chef knife and paring knife. You will also want to buy a sharpening steel. Choosing Appliance -> Fridge / Freezers A large number of freezers have eliminated defrosting by continually circulating the air inside the freezer compartment, thus avoiding frost build-up -- a feature well worth paying a little extra for. Swiss Diamond Round Replacement Cover for 3-1/5-Quart Stewpot, Saute Pan, or 10-Inch Fry Pan Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil. |
