Customer Reviews of Wooden Sushi Press #K5027
Customer Rating: Summary: This thing stinks like rotten fish! Comment: I used this product a few times and it was a complete disaster. It was clumsy to use and not at all efficient in its task. My husband and I both love sushi, but after using this product, when we feel like eating sushi we go out to a restaurant. This was just a bad thing all around that I would not suggest to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Customer Rating: Summary: Sushi Made Easy Comment: Using the press has made making sushi much easier. Although there are probably more professional presses available .. this product is great for that person just starting out. Customer Rating: Summary: incredibly small Comment: This sushi press is incredibly small and made from relatively inexpensive wood. Having said that, I was rather disappointed with the product considering the price (it looks bigger in the photo). Other than that, kudos to the seller for having it sent out promptly. More Reviews Wood sushi rice press to make your own layered rice creations. Wet the wooden mold, press sushi rice inside, place your filling or topping and press with top of the wooden rice press. This Japanese rice mold measures 3 by 6 inches by 2 inches high on the inside and 4 by 7 by 2 3/4 inches tall on the outside. Choosing Appliance -> Cooking Pans This is another area where spending money is justified. The best pans combine different metals like aluminum or copper on the outside and stainless steel on the inside. Aluminum and copper are valued for their ability to spread heat evenly over the entire pan, and stainless steel is valued for its non-reactive qualities. Buy pans which are heavy and thick with solid handles that are well fastened to the pot. As with knives, buy the highest quality cooking pans you can afford one at a time, starting with a saute pan and a 3 qt. sauce pan. They will last forever. At some point, a stock pot (which will be especially pricey) should be considered for serious cooking. Choosing Appliance -> Taps Dual-flow mixers provide independent hot, cold or mixed water after leaving the end of the spout. They can be deck-mounted on the sink or pillar/bridge-mounted for a more traditional look. Alternatively, choose a monobloc tap, which is a single-hole fitting that usually has two handles for hot and cold water supply.
