Customer Reviews of Nonstick Omelet Pan
Customer Rating: Summary: Nonstick omelette pan Comment: I have not used this pan, as I bought it as a gift for my mother who wanted one. I personally would have preferred the pan to be a bit thicker in structure, but for as often as I know she'll use it I'm sure it will be okay. Customer Rating: Summary: bad purchase Comment: It is entirely too big for a 5 egg omlet. The handle is too hot to handle. I wish I had sent it back--but was too busy. Customer Rating: Summary: Not a non-stick Comment: This omelet pan is poorly made. Its main problem is that eggs stick to its surface even when oil is used, so that when you flip the pan the egg sticks to the top surface and is not cooked on the other side because it does not settle down to the bottom of the pan. Also, the small handle gets so hot that you must use a pot-holder in order to flip the pan. Finally the pan emits an odor while cooking. This is by far the worst "non-stick" pan I have used. More Reviews The pan does the folding! This unique design makes cooking omelets easy, and the nonstick finish makes clean-up simple. Prepare two foods at once in the double-sided pan. Choosing Appliance -> Spoons Buy stainless spoons (both slotted and non-slotted) which are solid and won't bend no matter how tough the job. Also, buy several high quality wooden spoons for stirring delicate dishes like risotto (the sharp edge of a metal spoon would cut or bruise the rice). Choosing Appliance -> Ovens Most avid bakers prefer separate, even-heat double electric ovens. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven. On the inside, a dark interior shows less baked-on grime, while a porcelain interior is easier to clean Nonstick Omelet Pan Kitchen tips -> Peppers
