For me, the best thing about it is the fact it opens wine bottles with the synthetic corks very easily. I have broken quite a few manual corkscrews trying to get those out of wine bottles, but this one you just hold down the button. Choosing Appliance -> Ladles Look for ladles that are made of one piece of stainless steel rather than a handle and dome which are spot welded together. With use, spot welded ladles tend to come apart. Buy several differnet sizes. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result.
