Customer Reviews of swissgold® KF 300 One-Cup Coffee Filter
Customer Rating: Summary: Does the job... Comment: I owned this same filter previously but gave it to my daughter who was visiting and ordered this replacement for myself. I don't use mine for coffee but for making Teeccino coffee substitute. It works very well for making that one cup of brew to satisfy my desire for something hot in the morning. Customer Rating: Summary: good coffee but a few problems Comment: I purchased this product to make single cups of coffee without buying paper filters. The gold filter works well and the coffee tastes better to me. However, there are either some design flaws or I can't figure out how to use it. I generally brew at 12 - 16 oz of coffee which requires four tablespoons of ground coffee. When I do this the water diffuser sit directly on top of the coffee grounds. When you pour in the water it takes for ever for it to brew. It is also very messy to clean up. I now hold the diffuser above the filter and pour in the water. Or I don't use the diffuser at all. So I don't think the diffuser is designed well. But perhaps I am trying to brew much more than a 6 - 8 oz cup. Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect convenience, perfect coffee Comment: I have used 2 of these for 20 years: one at work and one at home. I originally bought mine in Scotland! I recently damaged the filter on one and came looking to see if they were still available and was so pleased to find them here. I use very fine grind and it slows the drip rate so that I end up with a very strong cup of coffee - just the way I like it. These filters are great. Customer Rating: Summary: Very nice Comment: I love my new one-cup coffee filter. It makes good strong coffee (I grind the beans a little finer than usual) and controls the flow of water onto the grounds so you don't have to sit there adding hot water little by little. Plus I don't have to buy (or throw away) filters anymore. Very highly recommended! Customer Rating: Summary: Swissgold 1-cup coffee filter Comment: My first Swissgold is now 20 years old and still makes wonderful, reliable cups of coffee. I now own 2, and this purchase was a gift. If that describes you - and you have the space - be sure one of the ovens is equipped with a broiler that provides at least 3,000 watts of cooking power. Also look for racks that pull all the way out and lock in place for safe, easy access to the oven. On the inside, a dark interior shows less baked-on grime, while a porcelain interior is easier to clean swissgold® KF 300 One-Cup Coffee Filter Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Cleaning & Maintenance Oven Never use a scouring pad of any sort to remove stubborn stains or soiled areas, since these pads scratch the finish and any future soiled areas won't clean up as well, especially with the self-cleaning models. When the oven is cool to the touch, place a cloth or sponge, dampened with warm to hot tap water, onto the soiled area and allow it to sit, for about ten minutes or so, to help loosen the soil. |
