Customer Reviews of Melitta ME1MSB Smart Mill & Brew 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker
Customer Rating: Summary: does not heat the coffee to proper temp Comment: THIS PRODUCT ONLY WARMS COFFEE AND YOU HAVE TO PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE TO DRINK IT HOT. EVEN IF YOU DO NOT OUT MILK OR CREAMER. I AM AN AVID BLACK COFFEE DRINKER AND ONLY BUY THE BEST COFFEES. I WAS SO DISAPPONTED THAT I DID NOT EVEN USE THE COFFEE GRINDER. NOW I HAVE BEEN TRYOMNG TO SNED IT BACK AND AFTER A 100.00 PLUS OUT OF POCKET AND THE PROCESS THAT I HAVE TO GO THROUGH TO SEND IT BACK I HIGHLY RECOMEND THAT YOU BUY A MAKER FORM A LOCAL SHOP. J AVAK WASHINGTON STATE Customer Rating: Summary: Worked OK for a while. Comment: Made OK coffee, but broke after less than a year. This is particularly concerning given that we only us it once or twice a week. Also, this is the second time we have had problems with Melitta coffee maker in less than a year. In both cases, the grinding mechanism just quit working. That's what you get with cheap plastic parts. The communication function is pretty useless, other than setting the time. Customer Rating: Summary: Horrible-- DON'T BUY Comment: I bought this coffee maker for my husband for Xmas lasy year because of the reviews and ease of cleaning. He recently broke the carafe as everyone knows breaks easily. It took me 2 days for find a phone number, when i finally found it and called I was told that they don't make replacement carafe's for the memb1. I tried to question them as where I could get one that would fit as the machine is good, and the lady hung up on me. If you google replacement carafe for the mill and brew these horror stories are all over the place. I wish i had checked that before purchasing this!!! Customer Rating: Summary: Didn't work long enough to get money's worth! Comment: I had the Melitta one and a half years when the heating mechanism stopped working which meant it didn't brew coffee. I called customer service and they said they wouldn't do anything about it since it was over one year. I paid $200 for it and feel it is unacceptable for it to only have worked for that amount of time and that customer service wouldn't reimburse me for any of the amount. What a waste of money. Customer Rating: Summary: Coffee and the Weather - I like it Comment: This is my second Melitta Mill & Brew. The first one lasted about 5 years and did really well. This unit is similar, metal mesh filter that is relatively easy to clean. Just set your normal grind and let it go. The only problems I have had is that every once in a while the screen goes blank and I have to unplug the unit and let it restart. Overall though, it works well. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Keen cooks may want to take advantage of multi-function ovens - usually aimed at the top end of the market. As well as traditional cooking, fan or fan-assisted cooking and grilling, these ovens offer up to nine further functions. These include: Top element only (browning), bottom element (final cooking of pastry dishes or pizzas), fan and bottom element (delicate cooking), fan only (thawing). Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse. This gives you water anywhere you need it around the bowl area. Melitta ME1MSB Smart Mill & Brew 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker Useful info -> Grill Grilling is a pervasive tradition in the United States. There are many cook-offs for steak grilling and good 'ole fashion barbecue (mid-western and southern style) around the United States with serious cash prizes involved in most. Almost all competition grillers use charcoal, most often in large, custom designed brick or steel grills. They can range from a few 55 gallon oil drums sawed lengthwise on their sides to make a lid and grill base, to large, vehicle sized grills made of brick, weighing nearly a ton. |
