Customer Rating:   Summary: Hot Dog Cold Dog Comment: I was really excited to get my hot dog cooker only to find out when I plugged it in that it didn't work properly. Only half of the rollers heated up leaving me with cold dogs instead of hot dogs. The ones that did cook were a tasty treat. I read the other reviews on here and took my chances hoping I would get a machine that worked. Instead of getting another machine I took the broken one to one of the repair centers in the warranty guide. I didn't want to have the same experience of receiving another defective machine like some of the other reviewers. Good Luck to you if you order one. I hope you get one that works. Just like other posts here, the light on the front of the unit was broken. It is not an amazon problem it is a factory package problem. This problem appears to have been around for a while. It would be nicer if it's made in the u.s.a. and perhaps it will be more sturdier. The tray appear to be a bit flimsy and that's why it get's stuck when being put back under the griller after washing. You have to buy the small hot dogs if you want to be able to cook 6 hot dogs on the griller because a slightly longer hot dog will only fit 3 hot dogs or hot links on the rollers. Bigger hot dogs also take longer to cook than the smaller hot dogs. The unit itself work very well and the cooked hot dog taste just like the theatre griller cooked hot dogs. For someone who is looking for a grilled/rolled hot dog just like the hot dog bought in a theatre, the Waring Pro HDG100 will satisfy your desire for a hot dog griller cooker. Choosing Appliance -> Whip / Whisk Many still consider a whip as a "gourmet" piece of kitchen equipment. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is as essential as a kitchen stove and should be in everyone's kitchen. Nothing works better for mixing a multitude of different preparations or for making sauces or gravy. Buy a solid stainless steel whip with moderately stiff wires. Very thin wires are for mixing delicate things like egg whites or whipped cream. Very thick, solid wires are for mixing stiff dough. Choosing Appliance -> Ladles Look for ladles that are made of one piece of stainless steel rather than a handle and dome which are spot welded together.
