Customer Rating:   Summary: Didn't hold up Comment: I bought this back on March '07 and and a year and half later it's pretty much worthless. The non-stick doesn't and the surface has cracks. I never used high heat or anything other than silicon turners with this griddle. A big disappointment given it's a KitchenAid. More Reviews Use this square griddle to whip up simply delicious meals: buttery pancakes, a toasty grilled cheese sandwich, perfectly heated squash and zucchini slices or some sunny-side up eggs. The low sides of griddles give you maximum access to the cooking surface of the pan. Handwash with mild dish soap. 
Choosing Appliance -> Spoons Buy stainless spoons (both slotted and non-slotted) which are solid and won't bend no matter how tough the job. Also, buy several high quality wooden spoons for stirring delicate dishes like risotto (the sharp edge of a metal spoon would cut or bruise the rice). Choosing Appliance -> Taps If you want a sink with large bowl dimensions to cope with big-pan washing-up, it is worth considering a tap with a pull-out or pull-down spray rinse. Useful info -> Fridge / Freezers No new fridge or fridge/freezer should contain CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) or HFCs (hydroflourocarbons), which have been linked to the "Greenhouse Effect". However your old fridge may contain them, so please dispose of it thoughtfully. Your local authority should be able to give you some advice and guidelines. |
