Customer Reviews of KitchenAid Gourmet Reserved Hard Anodized 5/8-Quart Butter Warmer
Customer Rating: Summary: So useful, I wish I had another Comment: I don't use this for butter - I use it for other things I want to warm up like water, pasta sauces, garlic, broth, anything. For making small meals - for my husband and I - it is just perfect, I don't have to use big pots for small jobs. The quality of the pot is unbeatable - it is very thick metal, especially in the handle, but it is small and surprisingly light in weight, easy to carry around the kitchen. It will tend to tip backward if you have nothing in it or if you have just garlic or something tiny in it, but with at least some liquid in it, it does just fine. One bonus, the inside is very slippery, which makes for easy and quick heating of liquids - nothing really sticks to the inside, which is great. No shipping problems, comes in a nice box. Very impressed, considering buying another. Customer Rating: Summary: Butter warmer Comment: i use this small pot to boil water for tea or a cup of broth. Since I am left-handed, I am in love with the double sided pourers. It is so much better than pouring water back-handed from a right hand only pot. Customer Rating: Summary: highest quality and best design Comment: Does not seem like melting butter needs a special pan, but this pan is just perfect. The consticted top contains the splatters from the butter (or oil) full of chopped garlic, and the anodized aluminum cools quickly off the burner. The handle is heavy and the pot a little tippy, but no complaint because that weight is all metal quality. And when you need to make a little oatmeal in the morning......this is the pot. More Reviews MANUFACTURER WARRANTY:andnbsp;andnbsp;30 DAYS Choosing Appliance -> Hobs If you enjoy eastern cuisine, you can buy a speciality hob with a wok burner. Similarly if you are a BBQ fan, choose a BBQ grill. If you are left handed, go for front rather than right hand side controls as this eliminates the risk of reaching across the heat. If you cook for a large family, more than four rings may be useful, and if you have young children it may be worth considering paying a little extra for a hob guard or in the case of gas, choosing an automatic re-ignition or cut off device should the flame blow out. Choosing Appliance -> Plastic wrap An absolute must with a million and a half uses. But do not buy just any plastic wrap. Go to a restaurant supply store and buy a large roll of restaurant plastic wrap. It sticks much better than the common grocery store plastic wrap and is much cheaper per foot. KitchenAid Gourmet Reserved Hard Anodized 5/8-Quart Butter Warmer Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Stainless Steel Maintenance Wipe away any acid spills such as from vinegar or grapefruit straight away. Never clean the bowl or draining board with an abrasive cleaner. Instead use liquid detergent in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth to remove water drop marks. Care for stainless steel appliance fascias and cabinet fronts in the same way. If choosing stainless steel cabinets, a 'brushed' surface is less likely to show grease from finger marks. |
