Customer Rating:  Summary: This roaster is wonderful! Comment: I was somewhat skeptical of using a vertical roaster, but as this was NapaStyle, I decided to try it. And I am so glad I did. It is so easy to use. The chicken comes out so moist and juicy and absolutely delicious. And cooking potatoes and onions in the bottom of the roaster is awesome. And cleanup is a breeze. I purchased additional garlic rub from the Napastyle store in Pasadena. The vertical cooker is great since it a way to make a delicious meal that is also healthy for you. I use the garlic rub and olive oil and cut potatoes and place them at the bottom of the pan to roast. Customer Rating: Summary: excellent! Choosing Appliance -> Cutting boards There seems to be little difference between hard wood and plastic cutting boards from a safety standpoint, as long as they are properly washed and sanitized after each use. Personally, I like the feel of solid wood. One piece of advice--buy large cutting boards. Don't bother with these tiny boards that everyone seems to have in his or her kitchen. They are not user friendly. Once you get down to serious cutting or chopping, the small boards are always woefully inadequate and downright maddening! Choosing Appliance -> Dishwashers Look for models with adjustable baskets and flexible internal layouts for varying load requirements. For example, a tilting upper basket allows large 30cm diameter plates in the lower basket and extra flaps can be raised or lowered to cater for small items or large pans. Useful info -> Dishwashers A concealed heating element reduces the risk of lightweight plastic items such as children's drinking cups melting onto it after becoming dislodged mid-cycle. Limescale build-up is also prevented. Some manufacturers now produce models with the concealed heating element coiled around the water inlet pipe for further energy efficiency. |
