Nice weight plus oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. A few minor scratches on two bowls but this set is a keeper for me. There are places were the gray lines show small "bubbles" and there is one small spot were the base ceramic is showing. I don't know if this is typical of this line or not. The plates, cups, etc. are substantial - they are heavy duty and clean up well in the dishwasher. I have had compliments on the appearance of the dishes. Regardless of the detail appearance, I am considering purchasing another set. Kitchen tips -> Rice cooking Add a few drops of lemon juice and a teaspoon of oil to rice when cooking. This will allow the rice to separate and not stick together after it is cooked. You can also try just adding a tablespoon of vinegar to the water to prevent rice from sticking |
