Customer Rating:  Summary: Rotisserie and Barbeque Oven Comment: I saw one at my son's and it was awesome...We did chicken breasts in 25 minutes and they we're so tender and moist...I use my rotisserie most of the time...It cleans up well too.. .Just put the rotisserie rods and pans in the dishwasher and you're done...I love it ! The first one lasted about three years, the second one four and a half years. Both times, it was something electric that went. We're heavy users, usually two or three times a week, sometimes more. It's great for: whole chicken, pork roast, salmon, whole trout, leg of lamb, sausages. Not so great for thin flat pieces: pork chops, fish filets. Cannot comment on steaks or burgers. The cooking times in the instructions should be treated as approximate; they tend toward undercooking. Learn from your own experience. The unit gets very hot when in use, keep it away from draperies and other flammable objects. The glass and the handles are fine, however. Ours sits on a cart with wheels that I pull away from the wall before using the unit. It's by far the smallest rotisserie on the market, at least as represented in Amazon. Big enough for two to four people. One star off for limited longevity. Just understand that once purchased, you can't depend on any customer service at Ronco. They don't answer emails. They don't answer the phone. If you order an accessory, it may never arrive and you won't be able to find out why. If you want an extended warranty, buy the one offered through Amazon. Customer Rating: Summary: Non-stick Paint comes off the loading rods - Unhealthy & dangerous Comment: I bought the oven because it claims to provide a healthy alternative. But the reality is that nonstick material / black paint on the "spit rods" (gear wheels) comes off with time -- while sticking to the cooked food; This not only makes the food unhealthy but creates health risks. The nonstick coating has shown to be carcinogenic. The spit rods/ gear wheels should have been stainless steel. Customer Rating: Summary: LOVE IT!!! Comment: Oh My Gosh!!! Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Also, find a spot on the counter where it can be easily accessed at a moment's notice. Choosing Appliance -> Dishwasher Choose a dishwasher with sturdy compression springs in the door. Also look for tough, lightweight nylon or graphite racks with cushioned tips that protect glassware and cookware. Weimer recommends choosing a model with a rack design that provides the largest, most flexible interior space and is configured for your belongings, including odd-shaped pieces. Useful info -> Taps The three-way tap delivers hot and cold water independently or mixed just like a normal kitchen mixer. For purified water in some cases, the centre lever or handle on the tap body is selected, and cold water is diverted to the purification unit which is fitted neatly away under the sink. After purification, the water is channelled through its own waterway inside the tap to deliver purified water at the point-of-use. Alternatives to this delivery system are also available. |
