So, this time we bought one with a more powerful motor and we're hoping for the best. At the box stores and such it's hard to find one a more than 250 watt motor, this one has a 500 watt motor. I burned out a 250w blender recently, and ordered this thinking it was double power. It wasn't much heavier when I removed it from the box, so I looked at the motor, and it said 320w. Evidently the 500w was the power of the european/220v motor, even though the outside of the box says plain as can be "500w". Needless to say, I returned it. I can't really rate it, just say it isn't what it says it is. Customer Rating: Summary: Sent it back Comment: After a minute of use, this unit was hot to the touch. You would think that 500 watts of power would last longer than that! I sent it back and Amazon has a great return policy. I was able to purchase a different unit quickly. This gives you water anywhere you need it around the bowl area. Choosing Appliance -> Mixer Pretty much the same thoughts as the food processor. High quality mixers are great for making bread or other tough jobs. Every kitchen should have one. Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Useful info -> Taps The three-way tap delivers hot and cold water independently or mixed just like a normal kitchen mixer. For purified water in some cases, the centre lever or handle on the tap body is selected, and cold water is diverted to the purification unit which is fitted neatly away under the sink. After purification, the water is channelled through its own waterway inside the tap to deliver purified water at the point-of-use. Alternatives to this delivery system are also available. |
