I do not let the spring loaded top fly open when I press the release button. It may be ok but I would like to avoid any undue stress to the plastic hinge. Customer Rating: Summary: True to its name! Comment: This is THE most convenient, practical, & efficient travel thermos in the market. Really lives to its promise & delivers a hot drink even hours after preparation. The convenient drinking spout & lock-in-place lid makes it a must while driving or multi-tasking. Spill-proof feature makes it a great companion for travel, although it DOES spill ONLY IF over filled. Lock-in latch prevents little fingers from quick access to hot drinks. Perfect fluid capacity (16 oz), just the right amount of your favorite beverage each time. Slender design makes it easy to accommodate amongst all your belongings. Easy to clean with regular dish washing detergent and a baby bottle brush, does not retain stains or odors. Highly recommended for people on the go. Customer Rating:  Summary: dissatisfied Comment: I ordered 3 of these for Christmas presents and was NOT notified until 4 days AFTER they should have been delivered that they were out of stock. By that time they were hard to find anywhere, and it was too late to order from another source. Customer Rating: Summary: Keeps my coffee hot for 8 hours and more! Comment: This is one of the best products I bought. I can fill this bottle up with coffee in the morning, and it's still hot in the afternoon (cold liquids stay cold too!). I have never had a problem with leakage and it has a nice slim shape. I don't have any complaints about this product and I have had mine for over 2 years now. If you need a reliable, solid thermos bottle, I highly recommend this one. Customer Rating: Summary: Terrific Bottle !!! Comment: Without a doubt this is the best bottle I have ever had for keeping drinks hot or cold. I use it primarily as a coffee cup and it keeps my coffee good and hot for up to 6 hours. I would highly recommend this bottle. I also bought one for my son who likes to take milk to work for lunch. Although it keeps the milk very cold, the container gets an awful sour milk smell. It washes right out, but it is annoying. You should also avoid carbonated drinks as the pressure can build up and when you release the hinged top it pops open with some force. Choosing Appliance -> Mixer Pretty much the same thoughts as the food processor. High quality mixers are great for making bread or other tough jobs. Every kitchen should have one. Be sure that any mixer has all three attachments: paddle, dough hook, and whip. Also, find a spot on the counter where it can be easily accessed at a moment's notice. Choosing Appliance -> Grater In our opinion, the old fashioned box graters work the best since they are sturdy and offer several different grating sizes. Tips How to Maintain Appliance -> Natural Granite Maintenance Granite must not be rubbed with abrasive materials instead, wash with clean warm water to which a non-abrasive light neutral detergent (PH7) may be added. Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a chamois leather or similar. Drainer Grooves can be cleaned using wire wool. |
