Customer Rating:  Summary: Quality product for a good price Comment: This is a nice, thick jar. True, there is no rubber seal around the lid, but it's only $10. If you need a jar to keep items fresh, you might want to spend a little more money for a nicer jar, but, if you just need a jar to put stuff in, this works great. I keep dog treats in it. The opening is nice and wide so I have no problems getting dog biscuits out of it. Customer Rating: Summary: Great canister! Comment: So happy with this purchase! The broken one had a lid that had a plastic/rubber seal that kept air from getting in - this jar's lid does not have any seal and just more or less sits loosely on the top of the jar. Choosing Appliance -> Built-in Ovens Ease of cleaning is well worth considering at the outset. Stay clean liners resist dirt build-up but pyrolitic cleaning is the ultimate. It burns off all baked-on debris at 500°C so that all you have to do is sweep out the resulting ash. Look out for ovens with a steam cleaning facility, too, and remember that some ovens have removable inner doors that are easy to clean. Choosing Appliance -> Spoons Buy stainless spoons (both slotted and non-slotted) which are solid and won't bend no matter how tough the job. Also, buy several high quality wooden spoons for stirring delicate dishes like risotto (the sharp edge of a metal spoon would cut or bruise the rice).
