Customer Rating:  Summary: a great value - my wife loves it Comment: My wife asked for a Dutch Oven for Christmas. After looking around, this seemed to be well above the general quality of ~$50 Dutch Ovens. We knew we wanted the enameled variety and besides, this goes with our kitchen. Quality looks to be very good, and my wife has 'gone wild' cooking with it - and nothing has turned out bad. Perfect for turning holiday leftovers into great soups and stews. I'm really the beneficiary of this gift! Customer Rating:  Summary: Great pot, great price! Comment: This was just what I hoped for. Heavy duty, beautiful color. My only complaint is that the cast iron rim will rust..so dry it well after washing! Unfortunately, the interior stained almost immediately and every time I used it, the stains got worse. I tried soaking it in a baking soda solution and even a bleach solution but the stains remain. It does cook well and retains heat. It's too bad they don't just make these with a black interior to hide the stains! Customer Rating: Summary: must have gotten defective one Comment: I have always heard that Lodge products were great and the reviews that I read about this item seemed to back that up but I must have gotten the bad apple of the bunch because the enamel chipped off in the bottom of the pan after only one use. I declined a replacement as I was very worried that the same thing would happen again. Amazon was very good about my return of the item and refunding my purchase price which I appreciated . I still am on the look out for a good enameled cast iron dutch oven that doesn't cost an arm and a leg but that is good quality. Useful info -> Taps The three-way tap delivers hot and cold water independently or mixed just like a normal kitchen mixer. For purified water in some cases, the centre lever or handle on the tap body is selected, and cold water is diverted to the purification unit which is fitted neatly away under the sink. After purification, the water is channelled through its own waterway inside the tap to deliver purified water at the point-of-use. Alternatives to this delivery system are also available. |
