Summary: Grill Size & Floating Hinge are NOT TRUE
Comment: This is my second George Foreman grill. I purchased this one in order to grill rueben sandwiches. The grill is inadequate in two areas of the description: size of the grill and the amount of floating hinge. Another Reviewer has already described the misleading phrase, "36 inch grilling surface". when the real surface is 6" by 6". Another description, "1 1/2 inch floating hinge" is a LIE. At the most, the hinge raises 1/4 of an inch. THIS GRILL IS TOTALLY INADEQUATE FOR MY NEEDS.

Comment: My only complaint is that it has a flat surface and my salmon fillets squirt out when I shut the lid. I hope George Foreman comes out with one that has cooking wells. I'd buy that in a heart beat!

Comment: A good one. Had an old "champ" for years and finally had to ditch it because it was just too dirty. Got this one and have been very happy. Great for quick means and great for bachelors.

Thanks to this, I have never used my oven!!

Comment: I live on my own and don't generally cook much and generally have avoided cooking meat at home at all, but this little grill has made it so easy! It's small so it stores easily, yet it easily cooks one or two chicken breasts, burgers or small steaks, so is perfect for one or two people. It cooks everything easily and I never worry that the food is over or under done. It is also easy to clean--just wipe it with a damp sponge and dry it off and it's ready to go for the next use!
