Summary: Very heavy!
Comment: These are pretty & functional, but very heavy ceramic. these are not the unbreakable material, nor are they the lighter weight glass-like material like corningware casseroles. I don't understand why they weigh so much--- not anything you would want a child to handle due to the weight.
