Customer Rating:   Summary: Good quality. Nice egg poacher. Comment: The Arcosteel stainless steel egg poacher set is easy to use and of high quality. The see-through lid enables you to watch the eggs while poaching. No instructions came with this product, and I learned the following from searching the Internet: "Remove the cups you plan to use. Fill the bottom of the pan with 1/2 an inch of water. Bring to a boil. Crack an egg into one of the stick-free egg cups. Place in the cup holder in the pan. Cover. Wait 3-4 minutes and remove from heat. Lift up the handle of the egg cup and slide the poached egg out onto a plate". A little dab of butter in the bottom of the egg cup before cooking will make it easier for the egg to slide out. I haven't perfected the process yet and am still experimenting, but so far I'm well-pleased with the performance of this product. Highly recommend. For example, a tilting upper basket allows large 30cm diameter plates in the lower basket and extra flaps can be raised or lowered to cater for small items or large pans. Choosing Appliance -> Ladles Look for ladles that are made of one piece of stainless steel rather than a handle and dome which are spot welded together.
