Customer Reviews of Mikasa Cheers Double Old Fashioned Glasses, Set of 4
Customer Rating: Summary: These SUCK! Comment: I've gone through 3 sets of these glasses, all of which broke. Thank goodness I got them through bed bath and beyond--they happily took them back! They do look good, but they break too easily. All types of glasses in this style is a no go. You're welcome to try them and if you do, get them from BBB so that you can return them when they break on you in a month. Customer Rating: Summary: Dissatisfied Customer Comment: I have purchased two sets of these glasses because I like the size. In both instances, they have all cracked in a relatively short time of purchase, with the exception of two of the designs. I think the etching is to intense, therefore making the glass very fragile despite its weight. I would not buy them again, and have a complaint in to the manufacturer. Customer Rating: Summary: Sturdy and Adorable Comment: The 50's modern design is just adorable! Another reviewer thought the heavy weight of the glasses was a negative, but that is what I like about them. I don't worry about breaking them with every little tap. Customer Rating: Summary: Heavy Comment: too heavy in coparison to other brands. This review is all opinion. they are heavy and need to spread hand wide to grasp these and use. I bought the Luigi Bormioli set and prefier them. They make good gifts! :-) Customer Rating: Summary: Very pretty everyday glasses. Comment: These are pretty to look at, but also very sturdy. The base is weighty enough to keep the glass very stable. They aren't fancy crystal, but really great for everyday use. The variety of patterns makes YOUR glass a lot easier to identify in a crowd, too! More Reviews Say "Cheers" and clink your glasses in style with these unique double old-fashioned glasses. Four different patterns?striated swirls, frosted, vertical stripes and polka dot?set a festive mood. 12.75 oz each. Choosing Appliance -> Do I need a dishwasher? If you enjoy washing by hand, no! However modern machines use less water, detergent and power than ever before and wash hotter using really powerful cleaners giving a hygienic wash result. You can save around 500 hours a year so it is worth thinking about. If you have a small kitchen or live alone, choose a slimline model. Choosing Appliance -> Hobs If you enjoy eastern cuisine, you can buy a speciality hob with a wok burner. Similarly if you are a BBQ fan, choose a BBQ grill. If you are left handed, go for front rather than right hand side controls as this eliminates the risk of reaching across the heat. If you cook for a large family, more than four rings may be useful, and if you have young children it may be worth considering paying a little extra for a hob guard or in the case of gas, choosing an automatic re-ignition or cut off device should the flame blow out. Mikasa Cheers Double Old Fashioned Glasses, Set of 4 Useful info -> Dishwashers Don't put up with intrusive machine noise in the kitchen. Most dishwashers are now whisper quiet, 45-49dB being typical. You should still be able to watch the television or hold a conversation whilst the machine is operating. |
